Located in Maplewood, Shakti Yoga & living arts offers both regular yoga classes as well as pre- and post-natal classes for moms. Shakti is a center dedicated to the art of living well. Shakti is a Sanskrit word (as is yoga), which means energy or power, or that which is manifest (all things with form). Yoga means union, of body/mind/soul and individual with All. Our vision at Shakti is to offer programs that honor the diversity in all, and encourage awareness of the underlying unity within.
Anna Winkler is pleased to have partnered up with Gayle Lemke. Gayle runs our pre and postnatal yoga and childbirth education services, including Kids Yoga, under the name of Shakti MA.
